We’re so happy to announce that Chris Griffith will play at our very first house concert on Sunday, May 22 (doors 6PM, show 7PM). He just released a new album called New Ground that is full of original acoustic, roots-based music. You may have heard him around town with Hot String Soup, The Main Street Remnants or in solo performances at various venues from coffee shops to art openings. His impressive songs and his engaging stage presence are going to be a pleasure to all of you who can come.

Cancellations: If your plans change and you can’t make it to the show, let us know ASAP, so we can try to find someone else to take your place. We want to have a full house of music lovers for Chris.

Timing: People will begin arriving at 6PM (no earlier, please) and the music will start at 7PM. Things should wind down around 9:30PM.

Food/drink: We start off with a couple of cases of beer and a bottle or two of wine. Beyond that, feel free to bring whatever you care to add to the pot-luck food/drink spread. We will have coolers and ice available.

Directions/parking:  From any interstate (I-70, I-64, I-44 or I-55) get off at the downtown St Louis exit easiest for you. Then go to Washington Avenue. Take Washington Avenue to 16th Street and then make a quick left (west) onto Lucas Avenue (across from City Museum). We are the 2nd building on the left - RAILWAY LOFTS (there's a big yellow generator on the entrance roof) 1620 Lucas Avenue. There will be someone in the lobby starting at 6:00 pm to let you in. If no one is there, please look up Tom Foertmeyer or Janis Kury on the call box and we can buzz you in. We are on the 2nd floor, Loft #205 at the end of the hall. 314-614-3111 or 314-378-6676. IMPORTANT- STREET PARKING IS FREE ON SUNDAY. You may park on any street meter on Lucas, Washington, 16th or 17th. If you cannot find free parking close to the building, there is parking available in the lot on Lucas & 16th or Washington and 17th.

We have not established a suggested donation: Please feel free to make a purchase from the merch table and toss some cash into the tip bucket for the musician.
